The Grand Architect of The Universe is the personification of perfection and perfection should be our goal in everything we do. I am sorry that brothers representing the Grand Orient of France find it so difficult to accept this beautiful symbol. It has nothing to do with any organized religion. GAOTU unites us in the desire to better ourselves and to follow certain universal set of morality represented by the wealth of various traditions developed by mankind. The idea of the Grand Architect of The Universe embraces multiple cultures and extracts the best for the common benefit. In my belief it is the heart of Freemasonry.

It seems that even Freemasons can find a way to disagree. It seems such a shame that the various lodges in France cannot overcome their difficults and unite.
